See each tint shade before you book

Every option is Union Window Films film, carbon or ceramic — only the amount of light it lets through changes. Drag the handle across the glass to see the shade land, and we’ll sanity-check your choice against your own car and Washington law before anything is cut.

A car shown clear on one side and illustrating the selected Union Window Films shade on the other

Washington asks for at least 24% VLT on every side window and the back window of a car; on SUVs, trucks and vans the glass behind the driver can go as dark as you like. Shade also reads differently on every car, so we check it on your glass before we cut.

Union window film

Which Union film is right for you?

The shade is how the car looks. The film is how much heat it stops. Choose each for its own job.

Figures are Union’s published maximums for each film. Your glass and the shade you choose change the result.

Questions

Window tinting questions in Everett

See all our FAQs
How much does car window tinting cost?

Car window tinting usually costs from $200 to $800. The price depends on your vehicle and the film you choose.

How long does car window tinting take?

Most cars take 2 to 4 hours. Taking off old tint first can add an hour or two.

How dark can I tint my windows in Washington?

In Washington, the front side windows must let in at least 24% of light, and the rear side windows and back window can take at least 24%. On SUVs, trucks and vans, the rear windows can take any shade. We check the law for your car before we start.

Is ceramic tint worth it?

Yes, if heat matters to you. Ceramic film keeps more heat out without having to look darker: Union Ceramic IR blocks up to 87% of infrared heat, against 75% for Union Carbon IR.

Does the tint come with a warranty?

Yes. Union car film comes with Union’s limited lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling and fading on qualifying installs.
